On/Go - Intrivo

#1 rated for usability, the On/Go app delivers step-by-step COVID-19 testing guidance, result interpretation, and access to virtual care, additional testing, and medication requests for COVID and other respiratory illnesses. Since launch, the platform has expanded to include AI-powered weight loss support, personalizing journeys, optimizing progress tracking, and providing real-time guidance to improve outcomes.

Role: Product Manager, UX Lead, and Research Lead, driving user-centered features and enhancements informed entirely by user feedback in a fast-paced startup environment.

How it started…

On/Go started as a companion app with step-by-step instructions and access to COVID-19 testing and vaccine records. With at-home testing being new, stressful and worrisome to most, the app was quickly adopted.

Goal: at the peak of the pandemic, the goal was not necessarily to introduce new features, but to meticulously learn from users and improve. Every day was focused on reading reviews, speaking to users, hearing what customer support was gathering, and creating a product roadmap that focused on making testing easier for our users.

How it evolved…

Eventually, users mastered testing. They no longer needed the app or paper instructions to be able to read their results. The feedback was clearly telling us that people were simply looking to upload results for a test that was completed without the app — and therefore, we introduced “manual upload” functionality.

How it’s going…

As demand for COVID-19 testing declined, the team reimagined On/Go as a broader healthcare platform focused on delivering convenient, personalized care. User research revealed growing needs beyond testing, leading to the introduction of virtual care for Long COVID, COVID treatment access, and support for other respiratory illnesses, including Flu, Strep, and RSV. Most recently, the platform expanded into weight management through its LEAN program, leveraging AI-powered conversations, personalized guidance, and ongoing care support delivered entirely through chat.

This evolution shifted the experience from a testing companion app to an AI-enabled healthcare ecosystem, helping users access the right care at the right time, whether through at-home testing, virtual consultations, medication requests, or personalized wellness programs. New engagement features, including alerts, notifications, and proactive recommendations, were introduced to encourage ongoing relationships with the platform beyond episodic testing needs.
